I had quite an experience at this hotel. On the plus side, the location was convenient for exploring the area, and I loved being close to local restaurants. However, I was disappointed with the service, especially when I needed maintenance and no one showed up. Overall, while the price is a bit much for what I got, I guess I did enjoy the nearby eateries and the vibrant neighborhood vibe.

While some staff were friendly, I had a frustrating checkout experience where I was charged for an extra night without proper explanation.

I planned a last-minute trip to Tbilisi and ended up staying at Istanbul Hotel. The location was perfect, surrounded by shops and restaurants, though it was a bit far from the main attractions. The staff, especially Nona, were incredibly helpful, making me feel right at home. While my room was clean and had a good value, the breakfast was quite basic and left me wanting more.

Rooms

My room was tidy and clean, with essential amenities like air conditioning and Wi-Fi. However, it was smaller than I expected and could use some updates.
Service

The service was attentive and friendly, with Nona going above and beyond to help me during my stay, but some staff had limited English skills.
Location

The hotel is in a bustling area close to various dining options and shops, making it convenient for amenities, yet it takes about 30 minutes to walk to the old town.
Dining

Breakfast was quite basic with only a few items available. However, nearby restaurants offered fantastic Georgian food that I thoroughly enjoyed.

I had a mix of experiences during my stay. The location is excellent for accessing the vibrant street life of Tbilisi, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. However, the cleanliness left much to be desired, and service was not consistently attentive. Overall, I found the prices quite high for the quality received, especially with some issues like maintenance response times and unexpected charges.

Rooms
5.0
My room was clean but on the smaller side. Some basic amenities were missing, and I found a few maintenance issues that marred the experience.
Service
5.0
While there was some friendliness from the staff, my experience was overshadowed by instances of rudeness and poor response to requests for maintenance.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location is ideal, right in the center close to many restaurants and shops, making it convenient for exploring Tbilisi on foot.
Dining
6.0
The breakfast was decent, but not particularly impressive. The variety could be improved to enhance the dining experience further.
Facilities

Facilities were basic, with room service available only once a day, and I faced issues like the bath flooding and a lack of certain amenities like coffee.

My recent stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. While the room was clean and the location was convenient for accessing nearby shops and restaurants, some aspects of the service and amenities left much to be desired. The breakfast was basic, and I faced issues with room service and some maintenance requests that weren't addressed promptly.

Rooms
6.0
The room was clean and tidy, but somewhat small. I appreciated the bidet spray, which is a nice touch that I often miss in budget accommodations. However, the overall condition of some facilities could use improvement, as I heard complaints about leaking sinks and outdated furniture.
Service
7.0
The accommodating nature of Nona and George made my stay more pleasant. They were always ready to assist and provide insights about the area, which I found very helpful. However, I did face some service inconsistencies, particularly with room service and maintenance.
Location
6.0
The hotel's location was a highlight, as it was close to many lively restaurants and cafes on a prominent shopping street. However, it was a bit of a distance from the main tourist attractions, which I found inconvenient for sightseeing.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was quite basic, with limited options available. I would have liked to see more variety than just a simple spread of cheese, boiled eggs, and yogurt. That being said, the surrounding restaurants offered delicious Georgian cuisine, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
Facilities
5.0
Basic amenities like Wi-Fi and air conditioning worked well. However, I encountered some issues with room service being limited to only once a day, which was frustrating. It would have been nice to have more consistent access to essentials like water and coffee in the room.

I had a pretty decent stay at the Istanbul Hotel in Tbilisi. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, especially Nona, who really made me feel at home. The location was prime, with lots of restaurants and shops nearby, but getting to the main attractions required a taxi, which was slightly inconvenient. Overall, I found it to be a good value for my stay, though the breakfast could have had more variety.

Rooms
7.0
The room was clean and adequately equipped, but a bit small for my taste. I loved the bidet spray, which was a nice touch. The only downside was that it could get a bit noisy due to thin walls, as I could hear conversations next door.
Service
9.0
The service was really good, with staff willing to help at any hour. Nona's assistance really stood out, making arrangements for my transport and ensuring I was comfortable.
Location
7.0
It was located on a busy shopping street, which was awesome for grabbing food or coffee, but it took a while to reach the central tourist area.
Dining
6.0
The breakfast was basic with only a few items like cheese and bread, but there are many tasty Georgian restaurants nearby for lunch and dinner.
Facilities
6.0
The amenities were pretty standard; I appreciated the Wi-Fi and air conditioning, but the breakfast setup felt a little lackluster.
